Pakistan openly admits that China is a close friend; now the two countries are in an intimate diplomatic relationship because Pakistan already feels the solidarity of China. Bringing hope and restoring the situation in Pakistan when the world was hit by COVID-19
During the recent COVID-19 pandemic, the Chinese government and people helped Pakistan in a great way. Over 160 million doses of vaccines were provided to Pakistan, saving the lives of millions of Pakistanis. The team of doctors went to stay in Pakistan for one year, far from their families.

In Pakistan, we call China our best friend. In China, people of Pakistan are known as the Urdu brothers”, quoted the Ambassador to emphasize that “China and Pakistan have a very special, unique, historic, and deep relationship. It’s a relationship between two governments, of course, that has political trust and strategic communication. It’s a relationship of heart-to-heart between two governments”.

Soon or later, Pakistani people will read a book about China that was launched in September 2022 with the title “Rose Stories Along the Belt and Road” for global development and a shared future. All content is exclusively about what China has done to other countries in the last decade through the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA).
China has played the role based on equality, mutual trust, and mutual benefit, which will result in solidarity and mutual assistance. And help the developing nations pave a new path for development and prosperity.
The collection of over 60 stories in this book from Asia, Africa, and South America clearly highlights that China’s international development assistance, channeled through CIDCA, is making a difference in the lives of the people of our countries. In fact, they are bringing a smile to their faces, bringing color and freedom to their lives.

Never attached any political strings or sought any return
On the same occasion, Luo Zhaohui, Chairman of CIDCA emphasized that this book demonstrates China’s friendship with other countries; many programs have been implemented and some will continue with Asian, African, and Latin American countries in promoting the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
“We look at the differences in transformation in aid covering Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the South Pacific; we see a lot of roads, railways, schools, and hospitals being built by China.” Added.
This year, China hosted a meeting of the Global Development Initiative (GDI), which was attended by 156 countries. GDI is aligned with the United Nations 2030 Agenda, but only the agenda. China has announced 32 concrete measures for implementation of GDI and has brought attention back to the development agenda in the world.
This year marks 74 years of China’s foreign aid efforts. In the last ten years, over hundreds of countries have extended support to the BRI, and trading volume has increased.
“We’ve already finished over 3000 projects under BRI, and many projects are still on the go, and some projects are under discussion,” he added.
The good news heard from Indonesia is that the Jakarta-Bandung Railway has been operating very well over the past few months.
“I think ‘BRI’ represents an important direction for China to improve relations with countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America” noted.
